k8ÓéÀÖâ„¢ ±·´Ç³¾±ð³æ® is an incredibly durable, inherently flame-resistant meta-aramid fiber. The unique chemical structure of ±·´Ç³¾±ð³æ® fibers is non-flammable so performance is built in and it can’t be washed or worn away.
Heat & flame protection
When ±·´Ç³¾±ð³æ® is exposed to intense heat, its fibers thicken and carbonize—absorbing heat energy in the process. Additionally, ±·´Ç³¾±ð³æ® fibers won’t melt, drip or support combustion.
Arc flash
The molecular structure of ±·´Ç³¾±ð³æ® that prevents heat from passing through it also prevents electricity from flowing through it when exposed to electrical arc.
Electrical insulation
Because ±·´Ç³¾±ð³æ® is a poor conductor of electricity, it makes for a remarkable insulator when used in paper sheets and boards.
Chemical resistance
±·´Ç³¾±ð³æ® fiber is highly resistant to most common acids and alkalis, fluorocarbon refrigerants, transformer oil and silicon.
