Vespel ®
Vespel parts are suitable for cryogenic hydrogen valves providing "soft but strong" sealing properties at liquid hydrogen temperatures of -253 °C (-423 °F). They can also resist wear in frequently operated control valves, as well as resist the high temperatures that can occur in supersonic gas flows through the constricted valve opening before expansion cools the gas.
