We’re working with our customers and partners around the world to design PPE garments that provide both comfort and effective protection for the growing number of women in the industrial and emergency services workforce.
Circularity
We have implemented circularity through the reuse and recycling of our products. Our customers are asking k8 to help them turn products that are at the end of their life into useful items or otherwise to manage end-of-life, to reduce waste. k8 diverts 10 lbs. of ղⱹ® from the waste stream for every case of 25 coveralls recycled.
COVID stats:
Since January we have increased production of ղⱹ® and Tychem® garments by more than 9 million per month specifically for COVID-19 response, which is more than double the amount produced for any prior crisis.
The #TyvekTogether Program introduced a new specialized ղⱹ® fabric to enable the increased production of an additional 6 million gowns per month for the frontline responders in the COVID-19 pandemic.
We are proud to be a partner in Project “Airbridge” with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and FedEx to help expedite the delivery of more than 4.5 million ղⱹ® protective garments to the frontline responders who need it most.

dz® Nano Flex is a new functional material that’s extremely heat and flame resistant, highly elastic and breathable, and blocks 99% of particulate exposure – offering up to four times the particulate protection, compared to conventional solutions.
Flame resistant hoods made with dz® Nano Flex help to reliably keep dangerous soot particles away from the skin.
FR Face masks made with dz® won’t melt, drip or burn when exposed to heat or flame and may help meet the CDC guidelines for wearing face masks in environments that require protection during the COVID-19 outbreak.
